HOUSTON — An appeals court in Texas granted mandamus relief to Baylor University, which claimed the trial court improperly ordered the deposition of the university’s president in a lawsuit brought by a student who claimed she was sexually assaulted in 2017 by multiple football players. The student failed to show the president had “unique or superior personal knowledge” that the school’s campus was unsafe.
