Three current and former homeless individuals challenging Washington’s protocol for clearing encampments throughout the city lack standing to raise their Fourth or Fifth Amendment claims, a federal court ruled. Their “Achilles heel,” the court ruled, is that the protocol never injured the plaintiffs.

Their “Achilles heel,” the court ruled, is that the protocol never injured the plaintiffs.
