SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal judge in California granted a preliminary injunction to an unlicensed death care industry group and its doulas to prevent the state Cemetery and Funeral Bureau from issuing the group a citation for offering advice to families and loved ones of those who are dying, selling end-of-life plans and discussing caskets.
