LABOR, EVIDENCE - In a suit that claimed Costco Wholesale misclassified certain managers as exempt employees, plaintiffs sought access to a redacted letter that was admitted into evidence. The appeals court found that Costco failed to show that the letter is protected from disclosure by the attorney-client privilege and the work-product doctrine, or that the company will be harmed by the letter's disclosure.
