LOS ANGELES (CN) - Chicago Bulls guard Ronnie Brewer pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday that Brewer has charged with one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol content.
Brewer's concentration of blood alcohol was 0.15 percent by weight or more, according to prosecutors.
Brewer was stopped on Feb. 19 near Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hills Police Department is investigating the case.
An attorney appeared on the player's behalf at his arraignment Wednesday. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for July 15 at Los Angeles County Superior Court, Airport Branch.
