SEATTLE (CN) - A longtime lobbyist for the Washington State Labor Council, which advocates for workers, says the Building Industry Association of Washington's executive vice president Tom McCabe defamed him by calling him "a felon" on the BIAW's radio show. Robert Stern claims McCabe refused to retract it, but offered only to say, "I have no evidence to support my assertion that he is a felon, and that he has only been arrested a number of times."
Stern say McCabe defamed him on the Building Industry Association's "Political Toolbox" radio show on KKOL-AM on Jan. 24, 2008. He is represented in King County Court by Kelby Fletcher with Peterson Young Putra.
