Buffalo News Accused of Libel

BUFFALO (CN) - The sole owner and CEO of National Air Cargo says The Buffalo News defamed him in a series of articles that claimed the company overcharged the Pentagon for shipments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Christopher Alf says the articles misrepresented "a complex contract dispute" and "an associated by separate agreement by NAC to enter a plea of guilty to a single count in an information filed by the United States Attorney" in Buffalo Federal Court.

Alf is represented by John Walsh with Carter Ledyard & Milburn of New York, N.Y.
