LOS ANGELES — Vida Heravi, 59, of Beverly Hills, a so-called “immigration consultant,” was sentenced Thursday to a year and a day in federal prison for bribing U.S. immigration officers to approve citizenship applications. Former immigration officer Daniel Espejo Amos is serving 33 months for taking bribes from her and others.
