LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A federal court in Kentucky advanced some of Kenneth Walker’s claims of Fourth Amendment violations against certain Louisville Metro Police Department officers and the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government. Walker, believing the officers were intruders, fired a single shot when they entered Breonna Taylor’s apartment unannounced. The officer responded by firing 22 shots, six of which hit Taylor, killing her.
