Brazen Pimp Admits It

SAN DIEGO (CN) - A man who wore an "I Make Pimpin' Look Easy" T-shirt as he picked up his 17-year-old prostitute from a hotel admitted in Federal Court Thursday that he was, indeed, a pimp.

Martell Davis, 34, of San Diego, pleaded guilty to transporting a minor for prostitution, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Davis admitted he drove a girl from San Diego to Yuma, Ariz., for prostitution.

An undercover police detective set up a date with the girl at a hotel, arrested her, than used her cell phone to tell the pimp she had made $500 and ask him to pick her up.

He did. He was arrested. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in federal prison, with a maximum of life. He will be sentenced on Dec. 13.
