Brain-Dead Girl|Released to Mother

OAKLAND, Calif. (CN) - Jahi McMath, the brain-dead 13-year-old girl whose parents sued a hospital to keep her on life support, has been released to her mother's custody from Children's Hospital in Oakland, to be taken to a location her family does not wish to disclose.

Hospital officials told reporters they had delivered the girl's body to her mother as ordered by the court.
