CHICAGO (CN) - BP North America monopolized the propane market and drove its price up in sections of the Midwest and Northeast during February 2004, in an illegal scheme "intended to test, perfect, and apply their strategies for implementing such propane corners 'at will' in the future," according to an antitrust complaint in Federal Court.
