Boss Threatened Her Life, Secretary Says

MARTINEZ, CALIF. (CN) - A secretary at Pittsburg High School says vice principal Ronald Polk sexually harassed her and threatened to fire her and kill her and her family when she complained. She also says Polk called her son and daughters into his office and told them that he "was having sex with your mother."

Jeannette Barnes and her husband sued Pittsburg Unified School District and Polk pro se in Contra Costa County Court. They claim the district knew that Polk had sexually harassed others in the past.

Polk now is assistant principal at Central Junior High School, according to the complaint. He is listed as vice principal of Pittsburg High School on the district's Web site.
