AUSTIN (CN) - Two women say Pan American Laboratories constructively fired them for objecting that its chairman of the board complained that "the company (can) not be successful if it follows all of the government's laws" and that "the way he intended to run Pamlab to make it successful was to only hire White Christian males between the ages of 25-35, who are married and who own their homes."
The plaintiffs add that the company harassed them and discriminated against them because one of them is Jewish and one is lesbian.
One of the plaintiffs was director of human resources.
They seek lost wages and benefits and punitive damages for emotional distress and violations of employment law. They are represented in Travis County Court by Delta Best with Best & Sprull.
Chairman of the Board Sam Camp is not named individually as a defendant.
The named defendants are Pan American Laboratories and Pamlab LLC.
