VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. (CN) - A black worker says that when he asked his boss for his paycheck, the boss told him, "You'll get your f-ing paycheck whenever I decide to give it to you, you f-ing monkey," and then choked him, requiring hospitalization.
Antonio Garibaldi sued Beach Lawn and Lawn Maintenance and the boss who allegedly choked him, John T. Davis IV.
He demands $500,000 for assault and battery.
Garibaldi is represented by Todd Gaynor of Norfolk, in Virginia Beach Circuit Court.
