MANHATTAN (CN) - The head of a Medicaid-funded home attendant program stole more than $530,000 from the nonprofit agency, federal prosecutors say. O'Dell Holland, 37, allegedly stole the money from Tremont Community Council Home Attendant Program, which serves elderly and disabled people in the Bronx.
Tremont was funded through the New York City Human Resources Administration. Holland's legitimate salary in 2007 was $76,000. The money he allegedly stole from 2002 to 2008 was on top of that, prosecutors say.
