Border Patrol Officer Pleads Guilty

SAN DIEGO - A former Customs and Border Patrol officer pleaded guilty on Wednesday to lying to the FBI about using the Treasury Department's electronic tracking system to monitor the movements of his Mexican girlfriend. Jason Alan O'Neal admitted he used the Treasury Enforcement Communications System to monitor the woman's border crossings more than 100 times. She lived in Mexico and drove a Land Rover he bought for her.
