Bogus Bills – and Fake Baseball Tickets, Too?

ST. LOUIS (CN) - An Atlanta man pleaded guilty to a federal charge of possessing counterfeit $100 bills. Kevin Bryant, 52, also had counterfeit Cardinals tickets on him when he was arrested, prosecutors said.

Bryant was arrested on April 12. He pleaded guilty to one felony count of possessing counterfeit currency with the intent to defraud.

He faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines at his Sept. 29 sentencing.

Inexplicably, the Cardinals are ahead of the Chicago Cubs in the National League standings today.
