The Federal Trade Commission accuses three individuals and a business in a federal complaint of defrauding consumers in advance-fee debt-relief schemes.

SHERMAN, Texas – The Federal Trade Commission accuses three individuals and a business of defrauding consumers in advance-fee debt-relief schemes. The defendants to the federal complaint are United Debt Counselors fka United Debt Services dba Department of Negotiations, David Melrose, Kirk Lanahan and Corinne Maples.
