BofA VP Stole $2.3 Million, Family Says

MIAMI (CN) - Bank of America assistant vice president Ricardo Figueredo stole $2.3 million in a family's certificates of deposits - their entire net worth - and the bank refuses to make it good though it admits Figueredo did it, the family claims in Federal Court.

The family claims BofA fired Figueredo, notified the authorities, that the Department of Homeland Security seized "certain property of Figueredo" and that BofA admits that "plaintiffs' money has been stolen by Figueredo, the bank's authorized agent, acting with actual or apparent authority on its behalf."

So pay up, the plaintiffs say.

They are represented by Mark Silverio.
