Boarding school trafficking

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Missouri county sheriff’s office could not secure total dismissal of an Indiana man’s federal lawsuit for emotional distress and human trafficking. He says deputies repeatedly failed to investigate complaints he filed as a young teenager that he was raped and suffered other violence at Agape Boarding School, which has since closed. He has 30 days to allege how the deputies benefited from the school’s venture, which involved forced labor.
