Boarding school abuse settlement

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A federal court in Missouri approved a settlement agreement between Agape Baptist Church, which runs a Christian boarding school, and a grandfather who sued on behalf of his minor grandson, who claimed he was physically and emotionally abused by staff there. The parties agreed to settle the case for $210,000.
