(CN) – The Illinois House of Representatives on Monday voted 113-0 to begin impeachment proceedings against Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who the U.S. attorney here has accused of trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama. A House committee will decide whether to put the issue to a vote on the full House. If approved, the governor will be tried by the state Senate.
