CHICAGO (CN) - A federal judge has delayed former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's prison term by a month.
U.S. District Judge James Zagel agreed to let Blagojevich report to federal prison on March 15 instead of Feb. 16.
Blagojevich, 55, asked for more time to help his family move into a new home. Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for a variety of corruption charges, including trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President Barack Obama.
Zagel also agreed to Blagojevich's request that he be sent to the Englewood prison in Colorado, though federal prison officials have the final say in Blagojevich's assignment.
