Sierra Club and other environmental advocates sued the town of Torrey, New York Thursday, claiming a recently approved 24/7 bitcoin data mining operation whose increase in power usage from a nearby generating station would harm fish populations, increase algae blooms and interfere with boating and swimming in Seneca Lake.
