Bioethicists Demand Records On Doctors’ Roles In Torture Sessions

WASHINGTON (CN) - Bioethics experts demand that the Department of Defense and CIA produce records on "the participation of doctors and other healthcare professionals in the interrogation of military prisoners and individuals detained by the United States government on the basis of alleged terrorist activities." Lead plaintiff Dr. M. Gregg Bloche, who also is a law professor at Georgetown University, also sues the Counterintelligence Field Activity, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, Department(s) of the Army, Navy, (and) Air Force, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
