Billing Firm Cheated Them, Docs Say

SOMERVILLE, N.J. (CN) – **Merny Schwartz and **Integrated Health Resource defrauded the Rossi Psychological Group of hundreds of thousands of dollars by incompetence and dishonesty, Rossi claims in Somerset County Court.     Rossi says Schwartz claimed to have “proprietary methods” to recruit and train nurse practitioners, which turned out to be using nurses instead of psychologists to do evaluations and counseling in nursing homes.      Rossi claims defendant claimed to have “a vast network of facilities,” but it turned out that Rossi was their only client.     And Rossi claims the defendants failed to process bills for thousands of sessions Rossi provided, and when Rossi discovered this, the defendants refused to turn over the billing data.     Rossi demands punitive damages for fraud, breach of contract, theft, conversion, negligence and other charges.
