SANTA FE, N.M. — New Mexico has refused to provide incarcerated people “even the most basic protections” required to protect them against coronavirus, plaintiffs, including the American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico and the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers, claim in a complaint filed in state court Monday.
