SAN DIEGO - Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf baristas filed a class-action lawsuit claiming managers illegally take a cut of their tips. Defendant International Coffee and Tea operates more than 520 Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores, mostly in California. Plaintiffs, no doubt inspired by a recent $100 million judgment against Starbucks, sued in Superior Court.
