A federal court in Louisiana denied a grocery store’s motion to dismiss a personal injury suit brought by a woman who “violently” slipped on what was likely a ripened banana on the store’s floor. Even if children dropped the substance, the question of whether two and a half minutes is sufficient time to put employees on notice must be left to the jury.
