The Fifth Circuit stayed a district court’s ruling that prohibited the rejection of Texas voters’ ballots on the basis of a mismatched signature without first providing notice to the voter and a “meaningful opportunity to cure his or her ballot’s rejection.”

NEW ORLEANS — The Fifth Circuit entered a stay so that Texas can reject voters’ ballots on the basis of a mismatched signature without first providing notice to the voter and a “meaningful opportunity to cure his or her ballot’s rejection.”
