Ballot measures

ABERDEEN, S.D. — A federal court in South Dakota denied Governor Kristi Noem’s request to stay a decision that blocked a law dealing with the deadline for measures to be placed on the November 2022 ballot. A stay would have moved the filing deadline to Nov. 8, 2021, instead of May 3, 2022.
