Auto insurance doesn’t cover STIs

ST. LOUIS — The Eighth Circuit sided with the lower court, which dismissed a woman’s demand for a $1 million payout under a Geico customer’s automobile policy after she contracted HPV in the back seat of the insured’s car. His policy does not cover sexually transmitted infections and only covers bodily injury arising from ownership, maintenance or use of the vehicle — not including sex in the back of it.
