Auto Fuel Efficiency Standards Increased

WASHINGTON (CN) - President Barack Obama unveiled plans Tuesday that would for the first time regulate greenhouse gas emissions from cars, but would also increase the average fuel efficiency of automobiles by eight miles per gallon over the next five years. "Ending our dependence on oil represents the most difficult challenge we have ever faced," Obama said.
