Eric Burkett

Eric Burkett got started in journalism in the 1980s writing for an alternative weekly in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Since then, he has worked for the Anchorage Daily News and the Frontiersman in Alaska, the Union Democrat in Sonora, California, and the Bay Area Reporter in San Francisco. Eric has written for SF Weekly, SF Examiner, Food Safety News, and Delish. He has covered government, food safety and food policy, religion, and education. Notably, he is also one of the very few people in the history of humanity to have performed cartwheels on the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica.
