Auctioneers Hit eBay With Antitrust Claim

SAN JOSE (CN) - eBay violates antitrust law and competes unfairly by refusing to let jewelry auctioneers use a "batch uploading tool" to place their catalogues prominently on the Internet auction site, but forces them to use a middleman to do it, Windsor Auctions and Jewelry Auctions Corp. claim in Federal Court. They say eBay unfairly lets a competitor use the batch uploader, cutting out the middleman. See complaint.
