Solano County's Supervising Deputy District Attorney J. Michael Mullins racially and sexually discriminated against an 11-year deputy district attorney because she is a black woman, and retaliated against her for complaining of it, Denise Harrison claims in Solano County Court. She claims Mullins, Solano County District Attorney from 1994 to 2002, has a history of discriminating against women and minorities.

Einstein Cosmetics claims Joseph L. Shalant acted as its legal counsel after being disbarred, and misappropriated money, in Los Angeles Superior Court.

David Leslie-Hughes claims Brendan McSweeny libeled him in disparaging emails, sent under alias, to the Lancaster and Bucks County Bar Associations, costing Hughes his presidency of the Bucks County Bar's Charitable Foundation, in Philadelphia Federal Court.
