ST. LOUIS (CN) - A former attorney with the Bryan Cave law firm is accused of threatening a co-worker, according to an FBI affidavit.
Ryan Walsh, 30, left a voicemail threat for a Bryan Cave employee at 9:27 p.m. on June 15, according to an affidavit filed by FBI Special Agent David Herr.
In the message, the caller said, "I show up to murder pieces of (expletive) like you," and mentions visiting a mental hospital.
Walsh was charged with transmitting a threat via interstate commerce. The case was sealed until late last week.
Agent Herr said in the affidavit that Walsh worked for Bryan Cave in New York City but was laid off. Walsh moved to another St. Louis firm before moving to Cassville, Mo., pop. 3,266, 280 miles southwest of St. Louis.
