Asylum seekers

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal court in California dismissed asylum seekers’ suit claiming U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services did not timely rule on their applications for work permit renewals. The case is moot as all of the plaintiffs’ applications were approved during the pendency of the lawsuit.
