Tour manager Liberato Fabro claims Barry Manilow Townsway Entertainment fired him because he divorced the daughter of his boss, Garry Kief, and would not knuckle under to Kief's demands in the divorce proceedings. Fabro also sued BMPI (Barry Manilow Productions Inc.), for discrimination, fraud and wrongful firing, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
David and Dorothy Weidman claim Anthropologie is violating copyright on their serigraphs, including "Water Birds" and "Orbits," in Los Angeles Federal Court.
