Artist Claims Puffy Combs’ Cologne Bottles|Are Packaged in a Knockoff of his Sculptures

BOSTON (CN) - Artist Tom Patti claims Sean Jean "Puffy" Combs misappropriated his artwork and used it for the package of the rapper's "Unforgivable" cologne. Patti claims the design of the "cradle package" that holds Combs' perfume bottle was taken from his sculptures, "Modulated Solar Airframe" and "Compacted Gray with Clear and Ribs."

Patti and Tom Patti Studios, of Pittsfield, Mass., are represented in Federal Court by Mark Bluver with Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin of Springfield, Mass.
