Art Lover Demands $1.6 Million For Leger

MANHATTAN (CN) - Elliot Wolk demands $1.6 million from MK Fine Art in a fraud claim involving a Fernand Leger painting. Wolk claims in New York County Court that the dealer sold him the painting with false warranties, and failed to disclose that it is linked to a number of Brazilian artworks seized by judicial decree in 2005 in connection with a bank executive who was convicted of embezzlement.
