Arrestee Says Cops Tortured Him

NEW HAVEN (CN) - A man claims officers tortured him with electroshock in a police van, where they also choked, kicked, and beat him after arresting him. Demetrius Lewis sued members of five Connecticut police forces in Federal Court, claiming that "While in the [police] van, cables were attached to the plaintiff's arms and he was electrically shocked ... [while] the officers were trying to get the plaintiff to give up some type of information."
