Arrest of an Autistic Child

A federal court in Utah ruled that a police officer is not entitled to immunity in a suit relating to excessive force used during the arrest of a 13-year-old child who has autism. The child had been peering through the windows of a library when the officer noticed him and then forced him to the ground and handcuffed him.
