Army Corps Accused Of Laying Waste Land

LOUISVILLE (CN) - The Army Corps of Engineers illegally issued ICG Hazard, a coal mining company, a permit to "disturb 960 acres of forest land and bury over 2 miles of Kentucky streams with waste rock and dirt," from a mine in Leslie County, Ky., the Kentucky Waterways Alliance claims in Federal Court.
