Armor failure

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A federal court in Arkansas found in favor of two firms involved in the making of body armor, dismissing all claims brought by the parents of a boy who donned an armored vest and asked a friend to shoot him. he died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The family could not show that the way the steel armor was created, cut or bent into shape was negligent or constituted a breach of an express warranty.
