Appeals Court Nixes Suit Over Eliminated Mascot

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CN) - An Illinois appellate court threw out two lawsuits accusing the University of Chicago of violating state law by getting rid of its controversial Chief Illiniwek mascot.
