Antitrust Regulation

NEW HAVEN - A veterinarian facing sanctions claims in Federal Court that the Connecticut Board of Veterinary Medicine violates antitrust law because a majority of its members are members of the profession, which can restrain trade.

Plaintiff John Robb claims the U.S. Supreme Court supported his claim in North Carolina State Board of Dental Commissioners v. Federal Trade Commission, 574 U.S. ___, 135 S. Ct. 1101, 191 L. Ed. 2d 35, 2015 U.S. LEXIS 1502, 83 U.S.L.W. 4110, (U.S. February 25, 2015).
