Anti-Abortion Law Dies in Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (CN) - A Kentucky legislative committee rejected a bill that would require abortion providers to perform an ultrasound, offer the woman a chance to see the image, and require the doctor or ultrasound technician to describe the image in detail, including "the dimensions of the embryo or fetus and the presence of external members and internal organs, if present and viewable."
