Another Federal Timber Sale Challenged

SACRAMENTO (CN) - The U.S. Forest Service is violating the law and its own regulations in the "Pilgrim Vegetation Management Project," permitting logging and road-building on 1,500 acres of old-growth forest in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, which includes habitat for the Northern Spotted Owl, the Conservation Congress claims in Federal Court.
